Munawar Iqbal Faruqui aka Munawar Faruqui was born in Junagadh, Gujrat on 28 January 1992. He belongs to a middle-class Muslim family. Growing up, Faruqui had an interest in comedy, and he would often mimic his teachers and classmates. As he got older, he developed an interest in writing comedy sketches and stand-up comedy.
Faruqui spent his early childhood in Junagadh and got his early education from a local school in Junagadh but his family moved to Mumbai because their home was destroyed during the 2002 Communal Gujrat Riots. When he was 16, his mother died, and his father got sick most of the time and became bedridden. His father died in February 2020.
At the age of 17, Faruqui started work for his family and worked at a utensil store while pursuing his school education. After that, in his early twenties, he used to work as a graphic designer until he became aware of comedy and made his decision to be a comedian. Munawar Faruqui is an Indian stand-up comedian, rapper, and Youtuber who has made a name for himself in the comedy scene. Faruqui started his own YouTube channel on 27 November 2010 and after becoming aware of comedy through various OTT platforms in 2017 he began his career as a stand-up comedian.

In 2019, he made his television debut with a romantic comedy web series called Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masalak, in a role of a roast comic.
