Tulsi Kumar was born on 15 March 1990 in New Delhi, India. He founded the record label T-Series in 1983. Tulsi was very bright in her academics, she attended Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi, and completed her graduation in Economics and Psychology.
Tulsi is the daughter of Mr. Gulshan Kumar (Businessman, Singer) and Mrs. Sudesh Kumari. She is the sister of Indian actress Khusali Kumar and film producer and businessman Bhushan Kumar. Tulsi started her singing career at an early age, and she debuted with a song called Shabe Firaq alongside Himesh Reshammiya from the film Chup Chup Ke in 2006. The song was a hit and Tulsi then went on to release her first album titled Love Ho Jaaye in 2009. The album was a huge success and earned her numerous awards and nominations.
