Indian stand-up comedian, actor, and writer Vir Das was born in Dehradun India, on 31 May 1979, Das had a childhood that was filled with music and theater. He was exposed to western culture at a young age, thanks to his Parents who frequently took him to international films. Vir’s father is Ranu Das (an employee of a food processing company in Lagos, Nigeria), his mother is Madhur Das (who worked at U.N. India), and his elder sister is Trisha Das (National Award Winning Filmmaker and Author).
